Finials
Finials are attached at
the extreme ends of the curtain rod. These are decorative and stylish knob-like
structures. We can see these finials at a fence posts, monuments, and

curtains. Other hooks by material include glass curtain hooks and clear crystal
glass hooks.
There are different
types of hooks to choose from and they are
Pin-on hooks
S hooks
Pleater hooks
Pin-on hooks
Pin-on hooks are also
called drapery pins. These are sharp pins that can be used with pleated
curtains having heading tapes. It can also be used with pole rings.
S-hooks
S-shaped hooks are used
to hang shower curtains. It can also be used to hang tie-top curtains from café
rods.
Pleater hooks
Pleater hooks have
prongs that give curtains a pleated appearance. These hooks have one to four
prongs, so they are sometimes called prong hooks.
Rings
Just like hooks, rings
also help to hold curtains. Rings should be half-inch greater than the curtain
rod in diameter otherwise it will be difficult to move the curtain. These rings
are usually made of wood, metal, or raisin. There are two kinds of rings; rings
with eyelets and rings with clips.
Pull-backs
Pull-backs help gather
the curtains together when you want an open window. It adds an aesthetic
element to the window décor.
There are two types of
pull-backs:

Hold-back
Tie-backs
Tie-backs are used to
hold curtains when you keep your window open. It is attached to the wall with a
hook. But it is soft and flexible because it is usually made from fabric, rope,
or cord. You can enjoy the outside environment and also it permits the sun rays
inside the room. One more advantage of using tie-back is, it prevents wear and
tear of the curtain rod as there is some type of curtain style that blocks the
curtain from easy to and fro motion.
Tie-backs are of
different styles and each type complements some kind of curtain. Like if you
wish for retro style then you can go for an anthropologic hemisphere tieback,
for a subtle look, we can go for a steel bud-tipped tieback, for the chic style
you can choose something in metallic shape.
We also have necklaces,
chains, and beads embedded in fabric-type tie-backs, leather tie-backs,
magnetic tie-backs, and tie-backs made with flowers. You can also use natural
geodes as a tie-back.
Holdbacks
Holdbacks are rigid

curtains. You can position holdbacks in whichever way you like, be it straight
or angled. Hold-backs are typically u-shaped that is attached directly to the
wall.
